The Childersburg Tigers (Childersburg, AL) basketball crushed the host Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), 60-22 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Midfield (Midfield, AL). The Patriots go into the 3A Area 9 test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Midfield walloped Tarrant (Birmingham, AL), 59-13, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Isabella for a 2A Area 7 test on Tuesday, January 23. Comer will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-37 league loss to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-3.
