Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), 74-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hodgdon upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Southern Aroostook won 76-10 in their recent league bout against Easton (Easton, ME)

Next up, the Vikings play the Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. East Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 29-25 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, ME).
