Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA), 50-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Emmaus upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Whitehall (Whitehall, PA) to play the Zephyrs in a Lehigh Valley bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Zephyrs come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Whitehall lost 53-28 in their recent league bout against Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA)

Next up, the Konkrete Kids play the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) in a Lehigh Valley bout, on Friday, January 26. Northampton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
