The Freeland Falcons basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Swan Valley Vikings to 14 in the Falcons league victory on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garber for a Tri-Valley - East contest on Tuesday, January 23. Freeland will battle a Dukes team coming off a 50-8 league win over Glenn (Bay City, MI). The Dukes record now stands at 8-4.

The Vikings (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Bearcats come into the Tri-Valley - East contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport was routed by Alma (Alma, MI), 65-27, in a league contest.
