The Blackhawks now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Akron-Westfield for a War Eagle battle on Tuesday, January 23. Hinton will confront a Westerners team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Westerners record now stands at 9-3.

The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, South O'Brien was overwhelmed by Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA), 49-30, in a league battle.
