The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Gilbert Indians to 39 in the Bruins league triumph on Monday.
The Bruins now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a AAA Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 36-22 league loss to Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-10.
The Indians (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Tigers enter the AAA Region 5 contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Swansea triumphed over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 36-22, in a league contest.
