In Monday's league outing, the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), by a count of 54-25.

The Rams (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight outing with a 6-17 record. In their last outing, South Elgin was crushed by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 52-47, in a league outing.

The Royals now hold a 12-11 record. They play next when they host West Chicago for a Upstate Eight outing on Tuesday, January 23. Larkin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-19 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-6.
