Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA), 48-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pocahontas upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to play the Jaguars in a Twin Lakes bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Southeast Valley lost 92-40 in their recent league bout against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA)

Next up, the Titans play the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
