California High School Basketball - Grant topped by Verdugo Hills

The Grant Lancers basketball team (Van Nuys, CA), dropped 48-32 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA)

The Dons now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poly for a East Valley battle on Wednesday, January 24. Verdugo Hills will battle a Parrots team coming off a 62-48 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 11-6.

The Lancers (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles come into the East Valley battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Chavez prevailed over Monroe (North Hills, CA), 59-17, in a league battle.
