The Rogers City Hurons basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Hillman Tigers to 31 in the Hurons league victory on Monday.

The Hurons now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St.Ignace for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Rogers City will battle a Saints team coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to Frankfort (Frankfort, MI). The Saints record now stands at 9-3.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hale (Hale, MI). The Eagles come into the North Star match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Hale was outscored by Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI), 47-31, in a non-league match.
