Nebraska High School Basketball - Wisner-Pilger can't hold off Howells-Dodge

The Howells-Dodge Jaguars basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Wisner-Pilger Gators to 36 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Jaguars now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Battle Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Howells-Dodge will battle a Braves team coming off a 55-23 non-league win over Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Braves record now stands at 12-2.

The Gators (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Clarkson/Leigh held off Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE), 63-19, in a non-league bout.
