Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings (Littlefork, MN), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake of the Woods upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Bears host Blackduck (Blackduck, MN) to play the Drakes in a A Section 8 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Drakes go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Blackduck won 73-50 in their recent league bout against Red Lake County Central (Oklee, MN)

Next up, the Vikings play the Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Littlefork-Big Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record.
