Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR) and the visiting Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR), saw Lewis Academy's basketball squad knock off Perrydale by a tally of 29-14.

With the victory, Lewis Academy improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Watchmen travel to Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Casco challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Crosshill Christian lost 41-26 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR)

Next up, the Pirates play the Grand View Christian Academy (Beavercreek, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Perrydale will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record.
