River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Wellston (Wellston, OH) to clash with the Golden Rockets in a Tri-Valley - Ohio bout on Thursday, January 25. The Golden Rockets go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Wellston lost 49-36 in their recent league bout against Alexander (Albany, OH)

Next up, the Marauders clash with the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio bout, on Thursday, January 25. Meigs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Buckeyes go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 67-46 league loss to Athens (The Plains, OH).
