In Monday's non-league outing, the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), by a margin of 48-17.
The Blue Devils (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT). The Wildcats go into the Freelance outing with a 0-10 record. In their last outing, Twin Valley was trounced by Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 62-20, in a non-league outing.
The Minutemen now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Arlington Memorial for a Marble Valley - D outing on Thursday, January 25. Mill River will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 40-13 league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
