Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel nips Paul VI

Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Our Lady of Good Counsel upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Archbishop Carroll lost 58-28 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)

Next up, the Panthers play the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Paul VI will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
