Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA), 29-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Langley upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Saxons host Wakefield School (The Plains, VA) to clash with the Fighting Owls in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Fighting Owls go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Wakefield School won 60-18 in their recent non-league bout against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Yorktown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
