The Avon Old Farms Beavers got by the host Westminster School Martlets ice hockey squad by a count of 3-2 in Monday's league bout.

With the victory, Avon Old Farms moves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT) to face the Pelicans in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Loomis Chaffee School won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hill School (Pottstown, PA)

The Martlets now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Deerfield Academy for a bout on Wednesday, January 24. Westminster School will face a Big Green squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Big Green record now stands at 8-6.
