The Alexandria City Titans basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting West Springfield Spartans to 46 in the Titans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Titans now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Alexandria City will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 53-35 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-1.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Fairfax was routed by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 51-44, in a non-league contest.
