Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors (Goldsboro, NC) and the host Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC), saw Faith Christian Academy's basketball squad overcome Christ Covenant by a tally of 45-26.

With the victory, Faith Christian Academy improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Conquerors travel to Community Christian (Wilson, NC) to confront the Cyclones in a challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Community Christian lost 49-38 in their recent league challenge against Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC)

Next up, the Spartan confront the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 26. Christ Covenant will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 38-20 league loss to New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC).
