The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Western Harnett Eagles to 47 in the Golden Bulls non-league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Bulls now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. E.E. Smith will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-24 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Triton nudged Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
