The North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) basketball nipped the host Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA), 47-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record.
The Royal Knights now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Elite Scholars Academy will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
