With the victory, Giles improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Maroon Tide come into the challenge with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Grayson County will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 60-7 non-league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA).
