Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick County knocked off by Glenvar

The Glenvar Highlanders basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Patrick County Cougars to 54 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Highlanders now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Glenvar will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 53-27 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-7.
The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Radford ran past Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA), 49-42, in a non-league contest.
