Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA), 46-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Luray upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Madison County (Madison, VA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Madison County lost 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Stuarts Draft will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 32-30 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
