The Oakcrest Falcons basketball squad (Mays Landing, NJ), was nudged 60-55 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ)
With the victory, Absegami advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Braves host Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 7-6. Bridgeton won 51-49 in their recent league battle against Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ)
The Falcons now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Spirit for a Cape/Atlantic - National battle on Thursday, January 23. Oakcrest will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
