Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR), 58-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Santiam Christian upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Eagles host Willamina (Willamina, OR) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A PacWest match on Monday, January 27. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-15.
The Cavaliers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willamina for a 3A PacWest match on Friday, January 24. Blanchet Catholic will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-55 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-15.
