In Wednesday's league test, the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes (Carson, CA) basketball squad trounced the host New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA), by a score of 50-26.

Next, the Coyotes encounter the Lennox Academy Panthers (Lennox, CA) in a Coastal test, on Friday, January 24. California Academy of Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-12 record after their 48-37 non-league loss to Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA).

The Jaguars (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Vistamar (El Segundo, CA). The Vikings come into the Coastal test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Vistamar bounced Geffen Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 63-60, in a league test.
