The Red Devils (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Shawnee Mission Northwest trounced Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS), 86-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cadets encounter the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) in a Metro Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 24. Christian Brothers will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Golden Griffins come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 77-74 league loss to De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO).
