The Jaguars (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Boone County (Florence, KY). The Rebels come into the District 33 challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Boone County was tipped by Ryle (Union, KY), 73-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Colonels encounter the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Covington Catholic will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 68-44 non-league loss to St. Xavier (Louisville, KY).
