The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Star Huskies (Eagle, ID) and the host Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars (Caldwell, ID), observed North Star's basketball team overwhelm Gem State Adventist Academy by a score of 70-37.

The Huskies (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Notus (Notus, ID). The Pirates come into the 2A Western Idaho challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Notus trounced Centennial Baptist (Caldwell, ID), 75-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Victory Charter Vipers (Nampa, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Gem State Adventist Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Vipers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 54-39 league win over Idaho City (Idaho City, ID).
