The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Grace Christian Lions (Bennington, VT) and the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), observed Grace Christian's basketball team knock off Mill River by a score of 58-45.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Loudonville Christian (Loudonville, NY). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Loudonville Christian prevailed over Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY), 43-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Minutemen encounter the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Mill River will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 54-46 non-league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT).
