The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) and the visiting Grace Grizzlies (Grace, ID), observed West Side's basketball team overcome Grace by a margin of 56-44.

The Pirates (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Cardinals come into the 3A South East Idaho challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Soda Springs defeated Malad (Malad, ID), 49-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the American Falls Beavers (American Falls, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Grace will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 60-53 non-league win over Teton (Driggs, ID).
