The Tazewell Bulldogs basketball squad (Tazewell, VA), was crushed 78-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA)
With the victory, Grundy advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Golden Wave host Council (Council, VA) to meet the Cobras in a Black Diamond battle on Friday, January 24. The Cobras enter the battle with a record of 0-11. Council lost 71-25 in their recent non-league battle against Appalachian Christian HomeSchool (Abingdon, VA)
The Bulldogs now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a Southwest battle on Thursday, January 23. Tazewell will meet a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 62-52 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 5-7.
