The Kirby Cougars basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Soulsville Revolution to 56 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Melrose for a 3A District 16 game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Soulsville falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Revolution host Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN) to confront the Phoenix in a 1A District 15 game on Friday, January 24. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 13-1. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering won 57-44 in their recent league game against Middle College (Memphis, TN)
