The Middlebury Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds to 23 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Vergennes for a Lake game on Saturday, January 25. Middlebury will confront a Commodores team coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT). The Commodores record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Missisquoi Valley falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Bellows Free Academy (Fairfax, VT) to confront the Bullets in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Bullets go into the game with a record of 5-6.
