In Wednesday's league contest, the host Morgantown Mohigans basketball team scored a big 89-51 win over the Wheeling Park Patriots.

The Mohigans (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs come into the Two Rivers bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, John Marshall was ripped by Bellaire (Bellaire, OH), 63-43, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Wheeling Park falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to University (Morgantown, WV) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-2. University won 81-48 in their recent non-league bout against Preston (Kingwood, WV)
