In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Northside Vikings basketball team scored a big 80-56 triumph over the William Byrd Terriers.
The Vikings (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Blue Ridge contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Lord Botetourt smashed Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 48-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Terriers confront the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge contest, on Saturday, January 25. William Byrd will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA).
