The River Ridge Knights basketball squad (Woodstock, GA), was outscored 82-72 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA)
With the victory, Sequoyah advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to meet the Greyhounds in a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 24. The Greyhounds enter the battle with a record of 10-11. Pope lost 65-49 in their recent league battle against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)
The Knights now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lassiter for a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 24. River Ridge will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 62-51 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-10.
