The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) and the visiting Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME), observed Washington Academy's basketball team knock off Woodland by a score of 81-66.

The Raiders (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes come into the B North challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Old Town prevailed over Hermon (Hermon, ME), 39-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a C North challenge, on Friday, January 24. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 87-48 league win over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME).
