The Carter Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Jurupa Hills Spartans to 57 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rialto for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Carter will play a Knights team coming off a 57-34 non-league win over Jurupa Hills (Fontana, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Jurupa Hills falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Summit (Fontana, CA) to play the SkyHawks in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The SkyHawks go into the game with a record of 10-3. Summit won 94-62 in their recent non-league game against Carter (Rialto, CA)
