In Wednesday's league contest, the host Benjamin Davis Falcons basketball team scored a good 50-38 triumph over the Dekaney Wildcats.

The Falcons (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 20-8 record. In their last contest, Nimitz topped Westfield (Houston, TX), 55-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 contest, on Saturday, January 25. Dekaney will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-18 record after their 51-30 league loss to Spring (Spring, TX).
