The Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), 53-28 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a Mountain Empire bout on Friday, January 24. Grayson County will play a Pioneers team coming off a 48-33 non-league win over Marion (Marion, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-0.

With the loss, Chilhowie moves to 5-10 on the season. The Warriors host Honaker (Honaker, VA) to clash with the Tigers in a Hogoheegee outing on Friday, January 24. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 13-1. Honaker won 33-30 in their recent non-league outing against Eastside (Coeburn, VA)
