In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Cousino Patriots basketball team scored a close 42-35 win over the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders.
The Patriots (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue contest, on Friday, January 24. L'Anse Creuse North will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Huskies come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 47-22 non-league win over Utica (Utica, MI).
