The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA) and the host Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), observed Fredericksburg Academy's basketball team knock off Tandem Friends by a score of 47-30.

The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Quantico (Quantico, VA). The Warriors come into the VISAA Division III challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Quantico dropped by Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA), 40-9, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Badgers encounter the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a Greater Piedmont challenge, on Friday, January 24. Tandem Friends will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 53-11 league win over Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA).
