In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Johnson/Washington Tech Governors basketball team scored a big 49-16 triumph over the Highland Park Scots.
The Governors (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Como Park smashed Harding (St. Paul, MN), 83-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Scots battle the Metro College Prep Lions (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Highland Park will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Higher Ground Academy (St. Paul, MN).
