Ohio High School Basketball - Huntington nudges Piketon

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) and the host Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), observed Huntington's basketball team edge Piketon by a score of 45-40.

The Huntsmen (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Shermans come into the Scioto Valley challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Unioto was tipped by Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH), 53-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Redstreaks encounter the Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Piketon will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 38-34 league win over Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH).
