The Salem Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Kennedy Trojans to 25 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Colton for a 2A Tri-River game on Friday, January 24. Salem Academy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 41-21 league win over Chemawa Indian (Salem, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Kennedy falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Gervais (Gervais, OR) to confront the Cougars in a 2A Tri-River game on Friday, January 24. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-12. Gervais lost 76-17 in their recent league game against Santiam (Mill City, OR)
