Rhode Island High School Basketball - Mt. Hope crushes Lincoln

The Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) basketball crushed the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 61-39 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Smithfield for a Division II bout on Friday, January 24. Mt. Hope will play a Northmen team coming off a 45-36 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Northmen record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to play the Saints in a Division I bout on Thursday, January 23. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 8-3. St. Raphael Academy won 45-34 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)
