The Metuchen Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Sayreville Bombers to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Timothy Christian for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29.

With the loss, Sayreville falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bombers host Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ) to confront the Owls in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Owls go into the game with a record of 6-3. Highland Park won 38-23 in their recent league game against Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ)
